On Wednesday, March 20th 2024, representatives of the Montreal Irish Monument Park Foundation, as well as, representatives of other Montreal Irish groups etc. were invited to attend the annual St. Patrick’s reception at the residence of the Ambassador of Ireland – in Ottawa.
We were pleased when Ambassador Dr. Eamonn McKee in his annual St. Patrick’s speech made a very nice reference to the importance of our Black Rock project in Montreal and also a mention that the Government of Ireland has made an initial financial contribution of $ 200.000 (Can) toward the planning phase of the project.
